ABOUT ME

I just finished studying Geography at CU with an emphasis in GIS. I worked part time in the Stable Isotopes Lab at INSTAAR where we analyze ice cores from Antarctica to better understand past climate. I am moving to Alaska and might actually start a job (dare I say career?) here shortly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted quite a bit in in Italy. Enjoyed showing people around the country side, away from all the hustling and bustling tourist spots.

At present, I live with housemates that aren't exceptionally keen to host couchsurfers (they are warming to it, though), but if you ask nicely, they might be interested in hosting some nice people (please have references to help us decide).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a bad experience couchsurfing. Thus far I have met some really great people, made some friends, learned a lot, laughed a lot. I suspect I will surf more after graduation when I travel again (before getting a job).

Music: According to several CouchSurfers, I really need to expand my music library. That said, I like all sorts of music: Bluegrass, Rock, Rap, Classical, Techno, and oldies, to name a few.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking through the Wind River Range in Wyoming was one of the best outdoor trips I have ever been on. It might have planted a seed to one day through-hike the PCT.
