I'm a med student aiming to see as many places as I can before my crazy MD life begins. I'm from İzmir but currently based in Istanbul, Turkey. I like traveling with friends, preferably closest ones. I love dogs and cats so I'm more than happy to stay with pet-owner hosts. I don't smoke but also don't mind staying with smokers. My favorite city is Berlin. I had the chance to spend some months in this amazing city and learned what a "free city" meant. I also love techno and dancing non-stop for hours! :)

I think the most proper way to discover a city is by asking and talking with the locals. And what's the best way to find locals whom you can ask about the city? Couchsurfing, right?

兴趣

I love taking pictures, especially of new places and locals. So travel photography seems to be perfect for me. I also never leave a country without trying something local, like its food or its nightclubs. I love history of art so I never leave a place without seeing at least one museum in a city. My favorite art movements are Romanticism, Impressionism and Fauvism, especially the ones in France.

As I said earlier, I love techno. Industrial and acid techno are specifically my favorites. My favorite techno artist is probably Kobosil from Berghain, Berlin. I also like pop music. My favorites in this genre are Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. I like romantic comedy movies and I guess my fave is The Proposal.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the summer of 2018 I was in Berlin during Berlin Pride, also known as Berlin CSD. I remember sleeping for only 4-5 hours during the whole weekend. That meant we were dancing, walking, singing, partying and changing clubs for at least 60 hours! That was one of the most amazing thins I've done in my life :)

Besides keeping the place I stay clean, I can also help with the housework. I can also do my best to make the host familiar with Turkish culture, if they are into learning cultures. I will also bring some souvenirs from Turkey as a gesture of appreciation :) I'm pretty sure the amazing Turkish food and snacks would make any host very happy!
