About Me

ATTENTION FOR SURFERS! Currently more up for meet ups, but occasional hosting could also be the case. Surprise me with your request :)

More on expectations towards surfers - check out Teach, Learn, Share.

SO, ABOUT ME

I am a very flexible, tolerant, introspective and rational person. I like profound conversations where I can discover depth not seen before, get to understand and see other ways, feel them. I am a very curious person, who is into diversity, physical activity, mountains, yoga, healthy diet, psychology and finding balance between different areas of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

"Everything should be as simple as possible. But no simpler"

"The description is not the described"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS has helped me to change the way of seeing traveling, not only as an entertainment but also as a resource for personal development as a result of being introduced to different realities of self-being and approaches to personal space.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being introduced into the movement mostly as a host in Kiev city, I started to love it from the same beginning. After I moved to Poland, I have been surfing more often. Then, I lived in the suburbs of Barcelona, overpriced super touristic city, and I was hosting more, but got tired of free loaders, so I stopped doing CS altogether. Currently, I'm back in Wroclaw and decided to check on CS again, lets see what it brings :)

Interests

Active tourism (hiking, climbing, biking, camping etc.), yoga, IT analytics and BI, independent and non-mainstream cinema, psychology.

Teach, Learn, Share

In my opinion, one of the most important components of the CS relationship is to share. To share thoughts, feelings, knowledge, experience, eye contact and even, sometimes, deep soul contact. For me, hosting someone is not only letting someone sleeping at my place, is to share my world, my house, and I expect the same in return from my guests. The same demands I have to myself while surfing.

It is like in a hotel or hostel, but you are paying with engagement into the reality of another person or people, with all the consequences like respecting other's personal space, sharing time together, cleaning up after yourself and sharing glossary instead of consuming, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you agree with all described above - I will be happy to meet you. I may cook for you, teach you Tongue Twisters in 5 languages or just stay most of the time chatting and having fun together.
