ABOUT ME

I'm Kaat (it's a dutch name, so in English it would be something like Kate, I guess. French people pronounce my name like they're calling their cat), I'm a 30 year old photographer.

After graduating from the ‘Narafi’ School of Arts, I've been trying to find a way to merge my passion for the great outdoors and extreme sports with my career as a dedicated photographer. I quickly realized that those two things didn’t have to exist independently, so I've been wandering from New-Zealand to Cuba and from Russia all the way to the Philippines.

My friends describe me as a very positive, energetic person. I'm creative, sensitive and open. I like to meet new people and I'm always looking for something new and challenging in life. I love cooking (but that doesn't mean I'm good at it).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing experience in 2014 in curaçao! Couldn't have wished for a better host and I'm totally looking forward to meet my next host.
