About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Complete this dissertation thing... and make books all the while!

ABOUT ME

I'm definitely remembered by my laugh, always prompt to be heard; I might be reserved at first, but once you get to know me, i'm pretty outgoing.
I enjoy getting together with friends, sharing stories and ideas over a meal or a coffee.
I'm a student, doing my doctorate degree in arts and cultural sociology - I can often be seen in small cafés, reading and working.
I'm curious, always wondering why the things are the way they are: there is so much to learn, on so many subjects!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slowly growing! I've only been hosted for the time being and it's amazing to be so generously welcomed into other people's home.

Interests

I enjoy photographic exhibitions, and theater, and books, and, simply, art: i work, for my master thesis, on street theater and have a sociological interest in public manifestations of artistic nature.
I'm a 'great outdoors' girl : moutains for hiking, woods for running, lakes and sea for swimming (and sunsetting!), snowy plains for cross country skiing, bring it on!
I also have a thing for France; i've lived for two years there, and really enjoyed it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i absolutely love hicking and backpacking : i've spent weeks wandering through brittany's footpaths, marveling at nature's ability to be so beautiful. same happened in corsica in 2012, where i was hicking the famous northern part of GR20 : the sea, the sun, the mountains - it was intense, in so many beautiful ways. I also had the chance to hike the Pyrénées from one ocean to the other (actually, from one ocean to the sea). Great summits and amazing people were meet throughout.
I'm out for a long bike ride down from Vancouver to San Francisco this time around!
