Hi I'm Kabilan Nadarajah

I've quit my job as mechanical engineer and sold all my belongings and traveled with my bicycle from Switzerland to Turkey. After cycling 3200 km and 7 countries, I started a different life, a life which is in line with my values and what makes me truly happy. I started to learn a lot about the nature and the ancient way of life. I learned what plants, berries, nuts and roots I can eat in the woods and what I can use as medicine.
I learned to make fire like our ancestors, only with the things one can find in the nature. These and many other things I started to teach during courses and on guided hikings. I'm very interested in nature, spirituality and in ancient wisdom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it's a very good way to meet great people and to enrich the travelling experience with new perspectives and deeper culture understandings. I like this concept because thats the most authentic way to spend time to learn more about that place and the people.
