For music I do not like opera or country western - everything else is in! Rock in every form - old, new,soft, hard... dub, reggae, dance, house metal, folk, and even hardstyles all have a time & place for me.

My recent favourite book was the start of a series called Wise man's fear - I'm pining for the rest of the books to be written.
