Hello! I’m Kacey, 21, from Melbourne originally but have lived in London for 9 years.

Currently travelling around Europe with my best friend, Tjala.

I’ve traveled a fair bit for my age thanks to my wonderful hippie parents, who showed me how to appreciate all walks of life and opened my world up when we lived in a camper-van across Europe and backpacked through India and Nepal.

I love hearing stories, travel or life, and talking about politics, philosophy, sociology, environmentalism and general chit chat.

I’m vegan but accepting of any lifestyle, would love to cook meals for anyone if they were open to vegan food too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing to meet new friends, appreciate local culture and one day be able to open my doors to travellers too. I think it’s such a special community of people who would share their homes, and I’m excited to meet people who share the same mindset.

Music: I’m a big fan of old soul classics like Otis Redding, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Sam & Dave and Stevie Wonder.

Which also leads into my love of R&B and 90’s hip hop, particularly my absolute favourite Lauryn Hill.

I’m happiest when I’m dancing along.

Movies: My favourite genres are comedy, crime/courtroom dramas, coming of age and of course, love a rom-com from time to time.

Books: To me a good book has complex characters and a good twist. I love Jodi Picoult and have read almost all of her books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a hike of the Himalaya’s when I was 9.

I can share my love of cooking and vegan recipes.

I’m trying to learn French but any language I can try and pick up would be awesome.
