I'm a 23 year old student from the States! I studied in Scotland this past semester and am now traveling Europe 😆 I was raised in the south of the US so I'm big on hospitality and love to cook for people while listening to music and having a few drinks. I love flowers and gardening, my dog Panda, tropical climates, good beer, even better wine, and camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first my primary goal with CS was to see all of Europe and meet new people, and partly it still is. But after spending some time couchsurfing in various cities, in various homes, flats, (chapels even!), and with so many wonderful and welcoming people, I've really discovered that this is my preferred way of traveling. The people you meet, the experiences shared, and the local knowledge you learn cannot be had in a youth hostel or a five star hotel. I really love and appreciate the community experience with couchsurfing, and I wouldn't want to go about my travels any other way 😎

HOW I PARTICIPATE
Right now I'm just a surfer, but when I return home to Alabama I'm excited to host couchsurfers and give back to the community that has shared so much with me :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped at an old civil war prison on an island 70 miles off the coast of Florida
Hiked 18 miles only to set camp completely in the dark, but woke up on beautiful Loch Coruisk on Isle of Skye. Not all who wander are lost I suppose?
