Coming off of a great year in Glasgow getting a master's degree, I'm now teaching English in Prague. All the Europeans/Brits I met in Scotland have traveled to so many more countries than I have, so I'm hoping I can catch up a bit while I'm over here. It's much cheaper to travel to different European countries if you don't have to pay for a transatlantic flight first!

I'm not always great at putting myself out there to meet new people, so I'm hoping Couchsurfing can help me with a way to reach out to new people and get out of my comfort zone a little. I'm also hoping to do some more solo traveling in the not-too-distant future, so I need to start learning how to meet people!

Reading. Baking. Doing Google Image searches of various cities and hoping that I'll manage to save up enough money to visit them despite the current state of the ruble. Watching too much American TV online through means both legal and immoral.

I'm a native English speaker and English teacher, so I'm more than happy to practice with anyone who wants to brush up on their English skills. Right now I'm looking for people to meet up with and not people to host me for the night, but if I did need a host, I could share my impeccable baking skills with anyone with an oven. I'm not a great cook, but I've mastered chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and almost any other baked good you can think of.
