Hi all! My name is Kacper and I come from Poland 🇵🇱 but for 4 years been living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates🇦🇪. Earlier on, I studied in a high school in England 🇬🇧

I have just finished my bachelor degree in Biology at New York University Abu Dhabi (pre-med) 💊🔬 and am just waiting to hear back from admissions of the medical university. I did a gap year to grab some good experiences in neurochemistry research🔬, did a volunteering in Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 (more about it below 👇), defended my capstone project and took off to travel since then ✈

When I grow up 😅 I wanna become an emergency medicine physician with a fellowship in either toxicology🧪⚗ or trauma surgery 🩺🩹

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my experience, my best travels were those when I had someone native to the place to host me! I would be very happy for literally anything from a small talk about the place to having a walk together ❤

Interests

I play saxophone 🎷since over 10 years, alto and soprano, as well as some piano. I also like to actively spend my free time, I mostly cycle and sometimes do kayaking when I'm out in nature 🛶🚲 nevertheless, backpacking is my biggest passion with over 50 countries behind my belt!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a volunteering in Feb 2023 in the Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 at a kindergarten in small village of Brobo in the afternoons, and a clinical experience at a university hospital in Bouaké. I made a lot of video footage and recently started a travel YouTube channel! My videos are in Polish but should soon be able to put English subtitles, have a look!

Well, I love cooking! Been very picky as a child, so much that my mom had to cook two meals - one for herself and my dad and another one for me! So to help her, I started cooking by myself at an yearly age 😀 I would be very happy to prepare you a nice meal when staying at your couch 😋
