About Me
Hi there! 👋 I'm Kader, a friendly and open-minded traveler from Istanbul, currently living in beautiful Bilbao, Spain. 🌍
I work as an English teacher (yes, I love working with kids 🧒🏽👧🏼), but when I’m not teaching, I’m exploring new places, dancing at music festivals, or enjoying long walks around the city. I’m always up for trying new experiences, whether it's food, outdoor activities, or local traditions. I’m a mix of calm and fun: someone who loves quiet walks through nature but also dances the night away at music festivals. Life’s all about balance, right? 🌍
I recently started traveling solo, and I love the freedom it brings—meeting new people, exchanging stories, and seeing the world through others' eyes. My next solo trip is to Mallorca this year! ✈️
Living abroad has taught me so much about cultural exchange, and I’m excited to connect with others through Couchsurfing. I enjoy chatting about life, travel, food (Turkish or Spanish—both are delicious! 🍽️), and all the little things that make us human.
What I Can Share
Stories about life as a Turkish expat in Spain
Some basic Turkish words or phrases (if you're curious!)
English practice if you'd like a mini lesson 😉
Cooking tips or sharing a meal (I promise, Turkish food is amazing!)
Things I Love:
Hiking and enjoying nature 🌄
Trying local foods and markets
Learning about other people’s cultures and experiences
Good vibes, music, and laughter 🎶
I’m easygoing, tidy, and respectful, and I’d love to connect with kind, like-minded people who enjoy making new friendships. If you have time to show me around or just chat over a cup of coffee (or txakoli!), I’d be more than happy.
Looking forward to meeting you. let’s share some stories and adventures! 🌟
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to explore a place is through its people, sharing stories, laughs, and little moments of connection that turn a trip into a memory.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a big part of my life 🎶
I’m into alternative rock, indie rock, ethnic music, techno, and rave... anything with a great rhythm, soul, or energy that gets me moving. Whether it’s a chill indie playlist, a deep ethnic sound, or dancing for hours to techno beats at a festival, music always feels like home to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived +25 hours Monegros Desert Festival
