ABOUT ME

I'm a traveler at heart and in real life. I've been away from 'home' for 10 years now and somehow have found myself settled in Denmark for the last 4 years. At daytime I'm a language nerd, copywriter and a hobby photographer, and at nighttime I'm a craft beer, wacky cocktails, red wine and independent movie enthusiast. But if I'm to be perfectly honest then lately I've been dancing until the wee hours of the morning much more often, too. I have a soft spot for stupid jokes and not a single day goes by without a good belly laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a couple of times in Melbourne, Australia in 2009 when I was still backpacking. These days I've been using AirBnb a fair bit.

Interests

Besides the things I've already mentioned, I'm also into meaningful conversations, running, swimming, cycling, handmade chocolate stores, being close to the water (or on it! sailing, woo!), feeding people my cooking, spontaneous daytrips, and that amazing feeling when the bus/train/airplane/boat has just taken off :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have beat the odds so many times I have lost count now. Basically, you can really do anything you set your mind to, but the journery just won't always be the easiest.
