I'm from New York. I study environmental studies and policy. I am currently a graduate student taking a year off. I have travelled before to Cambodia, Costa Rica, Mexico and now Israel. All of my travels have been ecotourism based and I taught science to elementary students in Cambodia. I am working at GeoTeva, an environmental planning agency in Omer, Israel. I am doing research on the environmental effects of solar and wind power.

I enjoy being in nature. I feel most at home where lands meets water. And the most important things to me when it comes to places to stay and live is proximity to nature and public transportation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to learn about the culture of where I am visiting. Staying with someone who lives in the country is the best way to do that.
