ABOUT ME

Always on a quest to get the most out of life. I have many interests, lots of experiences to reflect on and generally love to travel and meet people. Not given to writing about myself, I would rather meet you and let you find out about me. The travel bug has well and truly bitten and I just want to experience more of the world in the one life I know for sure that I have. More would be a bonus but best make the most of this one to start.

What goes round comes around. Always treat others the way you would like to be treated.Be open to new experiences and possibilities; never be afraid to learn something new. Enjoy life to the max.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From my first surfing experience in Syria in July 08, then Turkey and Paris CS has been an important part of my travel experiences and it helps make for interesting trips. Here in Australia, we have hosted various people and do so as often as possible. I love the concept and have met wonderful people through it and keep telling everyone about it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A completely random week with a bedouin family in Petra, completely unexpected and a wonderful experience. Stays in Homs and Aleppo, Syria; walking round Istanbul and a night in Paris all with kind, generous lovely people keen to live and learn with and from others. A great friendship in Paris from a visit there. Hosting when possible back here now in Oz- What goes around, comes around...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nights in the desert in Jordan under the stars with Bedouin hosts, singing and dancing and meeting dinner before it became dinner...Travelling solo through Jordan, Syria, Turkey and across Europe by train to the UK. Meeting wonderful, kind and generous people throughout.
