i'm a mellow guy with an intense streak that you can easily overlook. i try to appreciate the small but precious things in life, like having hot tea on my sofa, bathing in an icelandic hot pool, good music and the people in my life. i value oppenness, a good challenge and self-development over most things.

life is far too important to take seriously and therefore i don't!

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

couchsurfing is a community. when you meet people it's like you already know them a little bit, because you both belong to it.

it's wonderful how it facilitates the meeting of people who share the same openness and willingness to make friends.

i've hosted tons of people at my home in Reykjavík and surfed with other people in Paris (France), Riga (Latvia), Tartu (Estonia) and New York (US).

i'm a fan of the things that bring me the unexpected, whether it be books, movies or performances i go to. and all of the above are among my interests.

i intensely enjoy the trainquility of nature, but I can't be without a juicy cultural life.

books... hmm not a huge book person, but i'm into sci-fi. and fantasy. that's where books can really take you to another world.

i can teach some of my language, icelandic, and other languages i know. i can actually juggle balls, so... maybe more of a party trick, but still.

i'd love to learn about other people who challenge themselves and actively try to discover who they are. and who we all are.

at the moment i may not be able to host, but i'm up for meeting up, sharing a moment with food or drink or some interesting activity. like a swimming pool. those are a must in iceland.
