Overview
About Me
I'm half Japanese/Australian and have grown up in Australia. Like everyone else here I've fallen in love with travelling and meeting interesting people with great stories to tell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Finding new ways to meet amazing people around the world and will soon be exploring Europe with my best pal Mia. We would love to meet some locals and see their spectacular country through their eyes. Looking forward to a little local foodie advice plus a couch to crash on. We're both just looking to make new friends and have some great talks!!
Interests
I'm studying Graphic Design at University and have a love of art, photography and design. That love competes with my love of tea, cats and above all yummy food!!
I love to sit and read a great book just as much as I love to go out and see a great band or have some fun with my friends. If you love to have a good laugh or just relax with some good conversation we will definitely get along.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a large range of music from Rock to Jazz to Alternative/Indie to Studio Ghibli soundtracks and even a bunch of Japanese bands.
I must admit I'm a bit of a geeky kinda girl and love anime, fantasy books and all the usual pop culture extravaganzas such as Star Wars, LOTR and Game of Thrones.
My list of books goes on forever but I love a good fantasy or anything thought provoking, currently reading The Crimson Crown from The Seven Realms series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped a jealous 10 yr old dog and cheeky kitten become best friends. Not sure how much was my input and how much was theirs but they look so cute and happy sleeping together now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my own experiences in travelling in Japan and Vietnam. I've gone to Japan 4 times so far and would be happy to give advice and share my enthusiasm for Japanese culture with my hosts if they were interested. I'd also love to teach some funny aussie slang and have some great conversations!
