Kaela: I love plants and herbal medicine most of all. I enjoy gardening, composting, cooking local farm fresh food, reading, and taking walks. I like meeting people that also see a spark in the natural world around us, and I really enjoy connecting and learning about other's and their lives. I am currently on my way to the midcoast of Maine with my boyfriend and our cat Baguette. We are hoping to build our lives there embedded with the land and local community.

Kaela: I like to meet new people and make connections, and I so much rather getting the insider view of a new place rather than the hotel one. Generally hotels are out of my reach when traveling and generally Oliver and I find ourselves camping anyway! But I have gotten the pleasure of meeting quite a few very wonderful people through couchsurfing. (mostly through my mother's account which is why I don't have any references!!!)
