I'm Kaeli; a fashion obsessed, impulsive wanderer with a gypset outlook on travel. I have a I have a natural eye for great style and keen sense of creativity. Growing up in a small town made it difficult to embrace my inner fashionista, so I set out on a blind pursuit of passion.
From New York to LA, Toronto to Vancouver, I have lived and traveled abroad, chasing opportunity as it knocks. While I continue to cross off my 'bucket list', I continue to grow both personally, and professionally. Some of my biggest inspirations are Diana Vreeland, Audrey Hepburn, and Kelly Cutrone. In my spare time, I like to free write, flip through editorials and people watch over a good cup of coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hate 'vacations'. The last place I want to be is an all-inclusive suite. I travel to live. I love to explore trendy neighbourhoods, and get a first hand feel of what it's like to live there. I want to connect with people and meet friends that share the same interests. I want to wander until I find a place in the world that makes me feel at home, and that is difficult to do on a vacation.

My taste in music changes every day, which by default means I'm easily swayed on new sounds. I have a make-believe relationship where I've been dating John Mayer for the last 8 years, so I guess you could say he is my favourite. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the day of my College Commencement, I packed two bags, booked a flight and moved to Vancouver. I had never been to Vancouver. I lived there for a year and eight months and studied at my dream school for Fashion Merchandising before coming home :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a really creative approach to any situation. I like to think outside the box, and start with big ideas. That being said, I have a lot of practical skills that can be applied to any field. I currently hold a diploma in both Public Relations and Fashion Merchandising, both of which I graduated at the top of my class. I have 5 years experience as a PR and Events Manager, and 3 years of Retail Management Experience. My current gig is in Advertising and Corporate Recognition. I know this isn't a resume, but it helps to get a feel of what I'm good at :)
