ABOUT ME

I first started truly "surfing" in Madrid, Spain. I lived there for a year and a half and milked all I could out of that wonderful city. I'm a Chicago native but recently moved myself to my new, hopefully, forever-home in Denver. This is one of the most amazing cities I've ever been to and I intend to never leave :P

I'm a self-proclaimed bibliophile. I have completely mastered the skill of walking and reading at the same time. I'm extremely proud of this accomplishment.

I love music. All music. Festivals are a blast and a great way to meet new people! I play three instruments: bassoon, oboe, and piano. Bassoon got me through Uni, and I have to say it's a huge catharsis for me.

I make faces at myself in the mirror for at least 5 minutes every day. Dancing crazy, stupid arts and crafts, and hot tea make me the happiest person alive!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe very firmly in the phrase, "Don't knock it until you try it." I think that one cannot truly have an opinion on something until they have experienced it first hand. I make it a point to take advantage of every opportunity and live life completely and totally to its fullest. I try to accept everyone for the beautiful person that they are and see the wonderful little things in every day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've made a ton of friends in Madrid through CouchSurfing. I've tried to participate in lots of things from meeting for coffee to backpacking across Morocco to potlucks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This website is fantastic. I've made amazing friends, stayed with incredible people who have introduced me to completely new experiences, and I think I'm truly a better person because of CouchSurfing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've climbed the Sydney Harbor Bridge, scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef, been the only person under the Eiffel Tower, clubbed with French men in Madrid, swam in hot springs heated by a volcano, and stayed in a hotel with no glass in the windows or hot water. I love my life.

I love to cook and have learned lots of cool recipes in my travels. I'm currently dealing with a terrible love-affair with Mexican food. I also know the best places in Denver for street tacos! MMMMMM!!!
