ABOUT ME

I'm a native Seattleite, who, as you might expect, loves coffee, the arts, books and the environment and much of what this beautiful city stands for.

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to live a balanced life:
I work hard, and have plenty of fun too.
I aim towards constant improvement and progress versus perfection.

I'm simple, honest and trustworthy. I am both difficult to upset and highly impress.
I guess my philosophy can be summed up in this; that I want, in my older years, to start as many phrases with 'I'm glad that I ___' and as few 'I wish I would have ____ 'as possible

We were meant to help each other through this thing called life and have fun doing so. I believe everyone has something to teach and learn.

I'd like to get to know others from around the globe by hosting : ) I can't really take the time off from work to go travel myself at the moment

Interessi

working, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, checking out local arts, food and music, the gym, dancing, baking, having friends over for movie, tv or game nights. If I had to summarize I'd say I love bringing people together for a good cause, whatever that may be.also
sneaking juice and tequila in vitamin water bottles to the hot tub at the gym (shhh)

Musica, film e libri

Books:
Almost anything/whatever happens to catch my eye at the used bookstore
I tend to gravitate toward humorous fiction or memoirs though

Movies: almost anything; not much for stoner comedies.or lifetime movies. and its hard to find well done horror. I gravitate towards quirky indie comedies. I really enjoy foreign as well. Some favorites are Amelie, The Help.

Music: everything from ABBA to Zeppelin. Don't like screamo. Some favorites are Imagine Dragons, Mumford and Sons

Shows:
My guilty pleasure is Golden Girls, that and some things on TLC; I will however never watch the Real Housewives of anything or Honey Boo Boo

Food: anything people don't keep as pets, don't like horseradish wasabi or mayo. I'm a big fan of ethnic food; Indian, Thai, Greek, Mexican, Italian. I like seafood but am not a huge fan of shellfish.
