CURRENT MISSION

My mission right now is to experience more. I am a student of languages and I love expanding my knowledge of the world and the people that inhabit it. So my mission is to voyage as far and as often as I can.

ABOUT ME

Growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota shaped my life significantly but it also gave me the motivation to go out and see the world as it is. I've lived in a number of places through school and internships but I definitely want to see more. In University I study world languages (French, Spanish, and Chinese so far) and this has lead me on a wonderful journey meeting wonderful people along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live in the here and now as much as I can. I know that I did nothing to deserve the spectacular life that I have come up in and so I try to share as much as I can.

So far I have only posted my couches but I am wanting to surf as I have more opportunities. I have hosted a few people separately from CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

Robert Jordan is my all time favorite author with his Wheel of Time book series. I've had plenty of free time lately so I'm slowly making my way through various tv series'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Shanghai I've been able to travel around a great deal to see this vast country. From the peaks of Huangshan rising up through the mists to the mighty Yangzi River I just want to keep seeing more.
