Overview
About Me
I'm a marine scientist who loves eels, computer programming, geocaching, and generally exploring the world (and trying to do so on a budget). I'm not capable of hosting right now but hope to at some point in the future!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing to save some money (living in Santa Cruz on a grad student budget doesn't leave a lot of extra cash for lodging!) and to meet interesting folks.
Interests
I'm obsessed with skiing, geocaching, rock climbing, video games, board games, Bayesian statistics, public transportation, and scuba diving. I am also enamored with science museums of all types.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Galapagos for three months! Incredible experience being a part of a small, remote island community.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know something about the oceans, I'm the one to ask :)
I also love to play complex board games and am always happy to start a game and teach others how to play.
