About Me
this is the last part I'm filling out, and I feel like the answers to the questions below say quite a bit. so I'm going to skip this one. for now, at least. oh, a lot of my friends these days are children. I find them excellent company, and am down to hold babies for as long as they'll allow it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
meeting the kinds of people who would host people seems like fun for me. I love hosting others. a lot of that is believing that housing is a human right. and while hotels have their place, it should be easy to find a warm place indoors to lay my head for the night.

Music, Movies, and Books
LIVE MUSIC of all kinds. but I tend to focus on rock and folk. I read as much as my schedule allows. I like to focus on nonfiction, but usually need some fiction to break it up. currently reading Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker and The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates I'm not a big movie or tv watcher. but I am digging on Our Flag Means Death (tv) these days.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
with the system we're living under, it feels amazing to keep a healthy body and attempt to find peace of mind. I've also traveled around New Zealand for a few months, went skydiving there, to answer in a "typical" way. I felt amazed when I passed the state exam for massage therapy. woof.
Teach, Learn, Share
there are lots of things I do. as listed in my job, I practice carpentry and massage therapy. I also have been studying plant medicine for about seven years. I study astrology and love reading people's birth charts (only with explicit permission). I have worked in food and farming for many years, so I can grow food and cook. I love eating yummy yummy food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
happy to share any of the skills above. I'll be traveling on the train, so probably can't bring a lot of tangibles with me.
