ABOUT ME

I'm gonna pull something from a pre-written bio to put something up here so you can read something about me:

AARON KAHN founded The Laboratory for Enthusiastic Collaboration (LEC) in 1996 and has directed its research thus far.
• He is the author of Peacebuilding with Collective Creation Theatre: West of the River Jordan as well as The Itsy Bitsy Spider, a play about Dr. Kevorkian.
• During the 2002-'03 academic year Aaron was adjunct faculty at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and a guest director/lecturer at The University of Minnesota where he collaborated with Professor Sonja Kuftinec on an original multimedia performance about the Middle East entitled There Is A Field.
• In Cincinnati he produced The 24 Hour Plays featuring professional theatre artists who mentored youth, both Americans and visiting Arabs and Jews from Open House Ramle, in the creation of six new plays.
• As Director of Theatre Programs at Seeds of Peace International Camp he directed Abraham’s Land, a world premiere musical about the Middle East conflict developed and performed by Palestinian and Israeli teenagers.
• His work inside Israel/Palestine began with Yael Druyanoff’s Peace Child Israel in 1995 for whom he co-directed Rhinocerizing in 1997 in Tel Aviv and Jaffa.
• Aaron worked as actor-creator with New York’s legendary collective The Living Theatre and with the Lecoqtrained community-based Touchstone Theatre. He also directed the Vermont premiere of subUrbia by Eric Bogosian.
• As a puppeteer and actor he has worked with The Bread and Puppet Theatre, Eric Bass of Sandglass Theater, and Company of Strangers among others.
• He is a founding member of Los Angeles’ award winning Namaste Theatre Company and an affiliated artist with the International Theatre Institute (ITI/UNESCO).
• Over the past three years he has taught, performed, and studied in India, Thailand, Canada, and his native U.S.A.
• Aaron attended the acting conservatory at the University of Southern California School of Theatre and Tel Aviv University before receiving his B.A.I.S. (with honors) in International Studies – Theatre/Directing from Marlboro College and The School for International Training in Vermont.
