Hi, my name is Kai!
I always wanted to see and learn about the world, and traveling is the most fun way to do so and to grow. Getting to know people from other countries and with a different cultural background interests me and I'm always up to make new, international friends.

My buddies would describe me as outgoing, well mannered, and kind. And I'm crazy about music :)

I love to eat (trying new dishes!, hanging out with nice people), laughing, good conversations, and doing all kinds of activities or just to relax and read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the first time I'm looking for a different way of travelling. I'd like to be close to the life how it actually is in the country I'm visiting, and not just see it through the eyes of a typical tourist. My interest in your culture is sincere and I imagine it to be a great experience to do couch surfing and to learn from each other.

I love listening to film soundtracks such as The Lion King, Inception, Avatar, and many more. I also like indie and alternative Pop (Kinds of Leon, Avicii, The Beatles...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I knocked on the door of my greatest idole: Hans Zimmer. He wrote the film music for movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean or Batmand Begins. I got super lucky and was let into his studio. Shortly after, I went to Los Angeles to do an internship there -- an experience I still treasure.
