Overview
About Me
I am a twenty-something guy who just finished grad-school. I would describe myself as very energetic human without being annoyingly extroverted.
I am in the search of different ways in which people figured out this thing called life. Personally, I put most my focus on pursuing sports professionally (switched more recently to beach volleyball). However, I want to get to know people who emphasize other aspects of their lifes like their professional career, partnerships, family, spirituality, etc. Despite my background in Aeropsace Engineering, I most recently I helped to advance cancer research technologies. My interest goes beyond science and sports including fields like politics, different cultures, and technology. Also, as apparent above I am an advocate of the oxford comma ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I thrive on meeting new people (you!) and getting to know them in their homes opens up so many more insights into the way people live. This helps me to widen my horizon and value different aspects of life. I get so much out of these experiences than experience places around the world in classical touristy setups.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whilst being on exchange in Cambridge during college, I randomly met a person who asked me to sneak into Harvard's Natural History Museum during night. We did not get busted, but it felt an awful lot like "Night at the Museum".
-->Always up for spontaneous activities, even the silly ones!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I am a former competitive swimmer and, therefore, I can teach the sport really well and tell stories from high-performance sports
Learn: I am looking to learn Portuguese as I am moving to Brazil soon. Evenutally, I want to learn to solve a rubics cube too.
Share: I recently started modelling and learned so much about the industry in such a short amount of time. I am more than happy share these insights with anyone.
