Hey there!
I'm Kai, 25 years old and come from Eichstätt, which is a small town in Southern Germany. I've just finished my studies and am going to become a teacher for English and Geography at High Schools. At the moment I'm doing an internship in cold Alaska, US, teach German there and live with a super nice host family until the end of May.
Besides my studies I have special interests in electronic music, which I produce myself and have released on several well-known record labels. I have also played at some of Germanys most popular clubs and enjoyed the German electronic dance scene a lot during my studies.
Besides I love sports, especially ball-games (soccer, tennis, badminton...), boxing and yoga, which I do on an almost daily basis. I also enjoy cooking a lot (first of all Italian and German food) and eating good food, which is what I spend most of my (small amount of) money on :D
After all I would describe myself as a very honest person, I am very self-critical and would describe my world view as rather spiritual. I am not a superficial person, which at the same time means that it can take a while until I feel comfortable in new social surroundings and want to get to know my counterpart as closely as possible - so if someone is open to me, I grant him my opennness without hesitating. Furthermore, I am a rather clean person and love order, which does not mean that it bothers me to live with someone who does not. This just goes for my own apartment :D

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Actually it was my girlfriend who introduced me to couchsurfing, as she is a regular host to couchsurfers from all around the globe. I like the idea of providing unknown people the opportunity of travelling on low budget and this way getting in touch with cultures and customs I’d otherwise never get a chance to experience.

Opennness and Empathy I guess. But pragmatically spoken I can share my cooking skills with hosts, can clean the flat or whatever needs to be done. I am basically always there to help out in whatever way. If anyone fancies, I can introduce him/her to electronic music production!
