Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in International Studies. I've lived in a lot places around the world and visited a bunch of others too. I started rock climbing in August of 2015 and it quickly became my favorite hobby.
A bit of backstory:
I was born in Aruba and shortly thereafter moved to India. After 5 years in India my family moved to Jamaica for about 18 months.
After that we moved to Puerto Rico and we stayed there for about 10 years until I graduated high school there.
Immediately after graduating, my family picked up and moved to Cairo, Egypt. At the time I begun living part time in Gainesville as a student at the University of Florida.
After about 18 months in Egypt my parents decided to leave and move back to Aruba, so now I'll be living there again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing mainly to find places to stay while on rock climbing road trips. Additionally, it would be cool to meet other rock climbers around the world and hear their experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've got broad music tastes, alternative to reggae and everything in between. I'll try any genre of music once.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Arusha, Tanzania.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love showing people how fun rock climbing can be and that it's easy to get over things like a fear of heights.
Also I know a lot about the different cultures I have been immersed in and will gladly share my knowledge.
