Hey guys ! I'm Kai from Aachen/Germany and I just finished school in summer. Before I'm going to study I always wanted to take a year to travel around and make new experiences away from home. I dreamed about travelling NZ since I was young so it wasn't a hard decision which country I would like to visit at first. Now I'm going to work and travel NZ for half a year and afterwards I want to do a south east asia trip with some friends from Germany !

I just bought my own backpacker car to travel around and I'm going to try out as many different things as I can like different places and jobs, Wwoofing and couch surfing and of course some typical NZ adventures :)

Interests

I really love nearly any type of sports, especially football, fitness, windsurfing , skiing, sailing and MTB. But I'm also interested in rugby (of course I go for the ABs in the world cup) and one of my biggest goals in NZ is to learn how to surf in waves !

Furthermore I'm interested in actual political things like the syrian refugee crisis and I really enjoy travelling and getiing known new people, countries and cultures ! Travelling NZ has always been my biggest dream but there are a few more countries on my list. I'm looking forward to visit Iceland, Morocco, Israel, India & Nepal and I want to do a big south america tour in the next few years :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost every kind of music but my favorites are german and US hiphop, electro, house, rock and indie !

I'm a movie and especially series junkie but i'm not really into a special genre. I've already watched a lot of series from game of thrones over how i met your mother to breaking bad and house of cards ! And I'm always open for new recommendations !
