Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To wrap up my writting projects and write master's thesis
ABOUT ME
I'm a graduate student of Japanese Studies, a prospective M.A. battling unemployment and an rpg enthusiast, always on the hunt for a good story (true or otherwise). I'm also three of the world's ten worst profile writers, but you already know that.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind. Just for the heck of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My experience with Couchsurfing is scarce but I'm craving more. I've spent a week in Vienna, jumping from host to host with, and under the guidance of, a Couch-savvy friend. I also got to stay in Berlin and Sendai thanks to awesome CSers. Beyond any doubt Couchsurfing is the best way of traveling conceivable, after all, no matter where you go people you meet are more interesting than any monuments or tourist spots. Also, historical monuments might actually be of alien origin - Giorgio A. Tsoukalos might be onto something - and people (mostly) are not.
Interests
RPGs (preferably table-top ones, that involve people and not computers, or at least only computers that I cannot distinguish from people), books (good fantasy, sf and all things bizarre), Japanese language and Welcome to Night Vale (I do realize that listening to one particular podcast cannot be called "a hobby", but it can adequately be described as "an obsession" and aren't the two similar?)
