About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be happy, healthy, and kind.
ABOUT ME
I am a girl who loves meaningless midnight conversations and pondering the meaning of words. I'm pretentious (as you should have guessed), silly, and pretty fun; I am addicted to coffee, running, and delicious food!
I studied abroad for a year after high school and again in University and completely fell in love with Europe. It was so amazing to be immersed in another country, in another language, and with different types of people. It instilled a love for traveling and for people in general in me that I cannot shake, I absolutely love meeting new people, be it in the supermarket or halfway across the world!!
I am currently teaching English in Austria and doing as much as I can to be involved in refugee help. I am lucky to be a teacher to both Austrian and international students and learn everyday from being in the classroom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couchsurfed when I stayed in Germany a few years ago. It was such a great experience! I met some really great people, stayed up the whole night talking, and felt completely welcome in a foreign city... something I completely didn't expect! I have couchsurfed a few times while traveling over the years and was able to find amazing friends when I moved to Vienna for a few months in 2013, and on a few trips through Europe in 2013 and 2014.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a few Germans in a hostel in Germany who told me about couch surfing and showed me how awesome it is!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched the sunset from the top of the Eiffel tower, that left me pretty speechless. I climbed Mt. Phelps in the Adirondacks, and the view of the mountains and the forests was one of the most breathtaking sights I've ever seen. Basically, anything high up to remind me how small i really am :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I absolutely love to bake and will be more than willing to pass on those skills.
