ABOUT ME

I grew up in NY right outside of the city ... growing up life became all about the big apple the people in it and believe it or not i felt smothered. I was ready to burst that bubble and Going to college i did just that.. I just picked a random school in Illinois and immersed myself in the culture, Ive never regretted it once! Ive made great friends and great memories and i even became a more responsible, independent young lady. Now that college is coming to an end i'm faced with some really big decisions and this semester spent abroad in London will be a great aid in my choice of careers.

PHILOSOPHY

It might sound strange but as a mass media major it never became more prevalent that the long arm of the media effects our opinion's of one another in society. I wish more people in my country of my age bracket were politically aware because ignorance IS NOT bliss. I never think we should take ourselves too seriously because we only live once!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never surfed before i brand new to the site and and i'm really excited to meet new people while discovering how big this world really is! i'm traveling overseas for the first time and i'm more than excited for this experience!

Interests

I love Hands-on activities, like arts and crafts, Taking things apart just to see how they work =) Listening to music/discovering new music, Im a mass media major and I love to make people laugh, Im the second oldest of 4 kids and i really enjoy being a good big sis and a good role model

Music, Movies, and Books

I wish i could read for pleasure more but i enjoy the newspaper is that strange? Movies set in old times, and I'm a sucker for a good romantic-comedy =) with that being said i probably have one of the most eclectic tastes in music ever .. try me ! rock to hip-hop techno to trance I <3 music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its not too amazing but i graduated from a technical H.S. with a diploma in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning I studied hot water heating systems, wiring schematics, duct-work design, and welding for three years!!
