I live in Bend, Oregon with a few roommates and I love getting to share meals with the house. In the summer, I can be found in the garden between rows of tomatoes and sunflowers. I live in a beautiful area and I love to be out and about with my friends swimming, hiking or drinking a local beer and listening to some live music.

I was raised to believe that we are all in this together which is why it is important to take care of ourselves, each other, and our planet.

I love CS for the personal connections! You get to see the highlights of an area from the eyes of the people who actually live there. I have made friends around the world who I never would have met otherwise. I have gone night fishing in a fjord in Iceland, hiked in the snow, car pooled, split the price of bridge tolls in Norway, talked music, debated politics, danced with people in my small home town Independence Day celebration and shared several beers with people I have met on Couchsurfing. I treasure all of these experiences and the people I shared them with.

I love sharing the beautiful place I live with others and continuing to meet new people who have different experiences and viewpoints.

Interessi

Some of my favorite things to do are make meals with other people. I like camping, sailing, kayaking, swimming, fishing and biking. I love spending time around a camp fire or soaking in a hot spring with fun people. Other times, I love to cook, drink, craft, garden, visit art museums and explore the history of people and places. I have studied city planning and I am very interested in sustainable cities, and urban farming. I am learning to play guitar and I love listening to podcasts all day while I'm at work.

Musica, film e libri

The Royal Tenenbaums is my favorite movie. My favorite TV show is Parks and Rec. I reread Catcher in the Rye every few years. I love bluegrass, pop, country, and indie/alt music but will listen to anything for a while.

I spent a season crewing on a sailboat called "Dat Ass." I spent most of my time on the boat making jokes about the name.
