Overview
About Me
Spontaneous, loves adventures and traveling. Enjoy people-watching, thinking, reading and eating. Get easily excited about learning/trying out new things. I am learning NY salsa, self-defense and yoga :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, to discover new places, to see the world.
Started surfing in Europe since 2012, joined a few meetings in several CS-active cities and went paragliding with CSers in Singapore. No bad experience in CS so far, it has opened up a whole new world of fun and opportunities.
Interests
Ideas, opinions, perspectives. Good movies, music, fictions and history. Music and singing. I enjoy playing the piano and especially love music by the Piano Guys. Always curious, look up to people who travel for a cause e.g. community work, cultural exchange.
Music, Movies, and Books
Jason Mraz, Mandopop
Touching movies which make me cry like a baby (Life is beautiful, My Sister's Keeper, Cliche stories about parents with disadvantaged kids etc.)
Jodi Picoult, John Grisham, self-help, self-teaching, for-dummies series
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping at Phuket, Thailand. The very first time experiencing free fall.
Having been to both ends of the vast Pacific Ocean, first at Cannon Beach, Oregon, US and the second time at the East coastal line of Taiwan.
Taught English to children in an orphanage in Yangon, Myanmar. An amazing eye-opening and special experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak 3 languages including Chinese and some other Asian dialects (still trying to learn more) so I'm sure able to offer some hands-on in Chinese conversation. I am trying to learn German now!
I like to teach children because they ask the most interesting questions!
