Overview
About Me
IMPORTANT: I do not host at the moment! You can message me if you need any advice on traveling to Munich. I am more than happy to answer your questions regarding public transportation, restaurant/bar/club recommendations etc.
ABOUT ME
I find it very hard to describe oneself, as you usually see yourself in a different way than other people do. Some would say that I am humorous, sarcastic and laid-back, others find me more shy and a tiny bit insecure.
In my opinion I am open-minded, outgoing to a certain degree, lively, curious, polite and a little tomboyish.
I love to travel, discover different cultures, learn different languages and meet new people from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
In 20 years, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still feel pretty new to this Couchsurfing project although I have made some awesome surfing experiences in the States and hosted a few times in Munich.
I really like the idea of Couchsurfing - it brings people and cultures closer together and provides so many more opportunities to travel and discover another country.
Interests
This world has so much to offer and I am interested in various things.
I really love reading, usually novels, thrillers and plays and I am a lot into art and will definitely hit any art gallery or museum when in another city.
Some other major passions of mine are astronomy, dancing, FOOD, music and of course travelling.
Also, since I was born and raised in Germany I am A LOT into soccer and cars! But please note that I do not like FC Bayern Munich at all, so if writing a request to me never ever write how much you like them... ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I love everything with a Saxophone in it!
MOVIES
I usually like those more "guy-ish" movies with a lot of action and shootings and car races etc. and animated/Disney movies (I'm still a child!). Favorites would be: all Lord of the Rings and Hobbit parts, all Mission Impossible movies, most of the X-Men movies, Terminator 1+2 and Genysis, most of the movies starring Tom Hanks, Despicable me, Pocahontas, Lion King and and and...
BOOKS
- John Updike's "Rabbit" series
- everything by Anna Gavalda, Bertolt Brecht, Gerhart Hauptmann, Sebastian Fitzek and Ian McEwan
- most works by Hemingway (cannot stand most of his safari novels though) and Orwell
- I know this is cheesy but I absolutely adore "Gone with the wind" by Mitchell, I could read it over and over again and read how Scarlett O'Hara develops and changes over the years
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
DONE: Diving in the Pacific, trip to Tibet, riding on a camel in Tunisia, sailing on the IJsselmer and Oktoberfest in Munich every year.
SEEN: Solar eclipse of August 11, 1999.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are a lot of languages I still want to learn, but I can also speak a few and I'm happy to share my knowledge.
Unfortunately I really suck at cooking...I am keen on learning some VERY SIMPLE dishes from all over the world.
Oh, and I am Asian, so I'm very good at origami. My origami elephant gets a lot of compliments! :-)
