About Me

Hey, I'm Kaime! I'm a 22 years old undergraduate student from Brazil.

Living away from home made me a lot more curious about other cultures and other ways of living. At the same time, traveling became a lifestyle and something I can't imagine my live without anymore. I love to hear what people have to say, the stories they have to tell and I think having contact with people who have different perspectives of life makes our lives a lot more richer and fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing it's way more than just visiting new places. You get to know people and connect with them and with the city in a different level.

I think Couchsurfing offers travelers a unique experience of making friends all over the world and understanding the local culture of the places you travel to and also get the chance to share your own. :)

At the moment I can't host guests as I don't live by my own. But if you are coming to Juiz de Fora, feel free to ask questions about where to go, and maybe we can meet up! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! I love to get to know different artists, styles and songs. Latelly what's been playing in my playlist it's jazz music, old and new. Nina Simone is a favorite! But I also like pop, rock, ... and I'm always open to diferent styles.

I have to say i'm, unfortunately, not reading as much literature as I'd like to, but the last book i've read was "Olga" by Fernando de Morais, and I think it's one of my favorites till now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not a great cooker but I'm learning haha. I can share my experiences of life in Brazil and of my past travels.

People usually say I'm a great listener, so if you just want to talk about life or anything else really, I'm up to! :)
