About Me
Hello there! My name is Kairi, I started Couchsurfing when I first have my own place in Langkawi. The house that I was previously staying in has more space than I needed for a single person; and when I discovered the Couchsurfing app I fell absolutely drawn to give it a try as I love meeting people from around the world, learning and understanding their culture, sharing knowledge or just traveling experiences. So far, my Couchsurfing journey has been only pleasant and never will that be a complain! I left the island to travel in March and here I am back again on this magically cursed island after all places I've gone to and tried to stay. Langkawi has my heart and it is calling me back for some reasons that I am not fully known to it yet.
Below is my Instagram account link if you are interested to take a peek of my tiny little adventures:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I WON'T BE HOSTING AT THE MOMENT.
To offer souls of wanderer out there a short-term coffee pot in hope that interesting stories on the road be shared, cultures exchange and to build friendships from around the world. I love getting to know people on a personal stage and peeking into a small part of their lives because I never fail to be amazed by the ability and experience one has to go through. I am inspired by YOU!
It doesn't matter if you're a solo traveller/ a couple traveling across SE Asia/ bringing your kids along/ just simply looking forward to experience life in a different way, you will be very welcomed to stay with me!
Interests
Here's a list of things I am particularly into, if you share some of them!
YOGA (of all types)
Fitness and wellness
Environment and animal conservation
Psychology astrology (indeed both)

Dancin' and groovin'
Humanity (growth, development and evolution)
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a real groov-er to almost any kind of music! Don't particularly fancy any genre of music as they all have their own time!
I'm not big on movies but I'll try to list a few here:
Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
Inside Out
Beauty and The Beast
The Wolf of Wall Street
Interstellar
Meet Dave
Fast and Furious
Books:
The Aleph- Paulo Coelho
Into the Wild- Jon Krakauer
Change of Heart- Jodi Picoult
The Celestine Prophecy- James Redfield
The Kite Runner- Khaled Hosseini
Tuesdays with Morrie- Mitch Albom
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To seize opportunities when it arises, have courage and brave that heart in eliminating current possessions and entanglement to travel or discover/ join new realms/ industry for the greater good. Can't really pick one, so here's a few:
-Jumped off a "broken pier" into open sea at Perhentian Islands.
-Swim with turtles in Koh Lipe.
-Joined an exceptionally beautiful Kirtan session when I gave up being lost for almost 2 hours in a hill at Ubud, Bali.
-Attempting to work for a luxury retail company in Singapore when I have zero expertise in that field.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that everyone has a story to tell. And it is through experiences that we truly learn. It'd be AWEsome if you've got some special tricks/skills to share! It doesn't matter what you can teach me, whether is from a few terms/ sentences in your native language, how to dance around a bonfire, how to play an instrument, how to pet a camel, how to get rid of frogs without hurting them, cook a traditional dish, how to whistle without opening my mouth or assist me in learning forearm balance, let's share some gifts!
