Hey there! I'm a twentysomething profession working at an education nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay Area. Though work life can be busy, I try to find time to take care of myself, and to go traveling! ;-)

I love running -- I'm currently training for the San Francisco Marathon, and I'm also certified in sailing and scuba diving. I love the water, but ironically my swimming skills are a bit rusty!

Travel-wise, I am down to visit just about anywhere. Other than snapping the obligatory tourist photos, I'm interested in gaining some idea of how people live in the places that I visit.

I listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood. I'm currently really into more emotional folk music -- particularly Julien Baker, Keaton Henson style...

Moviewise, I'd say the most inspiring for me personally is October Sky. I come back to it once every few years and it reminds me why I fell in love with it every single time.

I'm currently reading the Three Body Problem series. If you are into alien first encounter / hard sci-fi by an author that doesn't exactly follow American sci-fi tropes, this might be one for you. (Obama also liked it; it was on his 2015 winter reading list)
