ABOUT ME
*****
The aim of this description is to make you feel comfortable with my profile, maybe to give you some hints for a small talk. For an accurate description, we need to meet in the real world!
*****
- Key words: Tunisian, electrical engineer, Germany
- What makes me happy: apples, happy people around me.
- What makes me angry: tardiness, impoliteness, selfishness.
- Personal interests: music, reading, traveling.
When travelling...
- I like: having a nice talk (about yourself, languages, cultures/idioms, history, politics, arts... whatever you want!), walking, sightseeing.
- I don't really like: sports (hiking, diving...), partying.
PHILOSOPHY
I still don't understand why God created humans. But I am sure it is not to watch us fight in wars or run after selfish personal interests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
1) By hosting (currently not possible)
What I offer: my couch, my time, my little knowledge, my interest on you.
What I am looking for: trustworthiness, making new connections - and eventually new friends! But if you just need a couch, I am also fine with it.
2) By surfing
What I offer: trustworthiness, my little knowledge, my interest on you and your culture.
What I am looking for: trustworthiness (yes, it has to be mutual...). You don't have to make time for showing me around (although I appreciate this), you can just give some tips. I would like to have a nice talk with you, maybe during lunch/dinner? If you cannot, then I will still be very thankful for hosting me under your roof!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted more often than I surfed. Generally, I travel with friends who are not on CS so I can't couch-surf.
But the little experience I have had so far was great!
Interests
I have already mentioned them in my description, so I will provide more details here.
- Music: I went to a music school before going to a normal school... I love traditional Tunisian music and Arabic music in general. I used to play violin but I gave up some years ago because I am not good at it. Recently I have started to learn saxophone, I love jazz!
- Reading: in four languages (Arabic, French, English, German). I generally read novels.
- Traveling: once you start, you cannot quit and you want more!
- NGO (Kinder Afrikas): it is a small NGO with a great impact. We are mainly active in Liberia and Togo. So far, we have built an orphanage, a small clinic and some schools, and we are managing them. I used to be responsible for the scholarships provided for students to study at the universities in Liberia.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will skip this section for now. Ask me when we meet!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A lot, and still not everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: If you want to learn some words or practice a language I speak fluently, then I will be more than happy to help you. I might teach you how to cook a Tunisian meal, if you like!
Learn: Something typical about your country. It might be food, a (card) game, or some handicraft (like making an origami). Let's be creative!
