I'm kind and funny person who likes to talk with new people but also senses when it is time to remain quiet. In a group I am usually the one who listens more than blathers but still I can enjoy my time in there. I'm interested in surrounding world and even my profession is trying to make world a bit better than what it is.

I do not know anything about latest fashion but intead of that I can explain to you about history of Turku or show some cool places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I created profile here five years ago and then forgot the whole page when life got busy. Now I have decided to travel more and meet new personalities so it would be cool also meet people who wish to travel to Turku.

I live in a small apartment near centrum but this is cozy and feels like home. I can offer mattress on the floor since I do not own a couch.

Interests

I must admit that I often spend my time with rpg's and boardgames. But I also like to see new places even in familiar city. I also arrenge small food party with my friends where we cook together following certain theme on servings. Or I inivite my friends over a dinner since I do love cooking and try out new reciepes. I also like to go to gym and try to do some cardional exercising as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

if I should say my favourite director, it would be Tim Burton. His films are simple neat ones. Of course there are other good films as well like Lord of the Rings.

What it comes to music it really depends on my mood what you can hear me listening. from pop to rock sometimes even bits from classical music. Spotify is my newest friend when I used to listen music from YouTube. Hoo.

Books.. well writers like Howard, Lovecraft, Tolkien, Wynne-Jones are on my favourite list. Many others I try occasionally but those has been my favourites many years for now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think first awestruck moment happened when I saw the Lake Titicaca. To see that bright blue water was simply unforgottable view even lakes are common here.

Other awesome moments I have felt in Finland when I have been hiking in nature. All that green.. is simply stunning to see.

And it felt awesome when I had courage to travel alone at the first time. Now I am planning new journeys around the world already! Canada here I come in 2018!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're keen to know about Turku and Finnish people, I can help with that. I have been living in Turku over 8 years now so I know many places what are worth of seeing here and on nearby.

I would also like to share some new reciepts if someone is keen on that. What is more fun than hang out together and cook something. That is great wat to spend some time. And if I am not working, I can also offer my company to show the city itself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Oh even I might seem a bit shy at first I tend to smile a lot and I can share various conversations with my host. Like I said.. I also love cooking so it would be great if I could at least cook something as a thanks if someone is hosting me.
