Overview
About Me
I'm a journalist, a dancer, a dog person, a travel enthusiast and a sucker for everything related to Germany. Preferably in the opposite order.
If I could choose I would spend my days wandering around different cities, meeting new people and speaking different languages.
Aaand while waiting the opportunity to do that I'm trying to finish my university studies.
I admire people who are doing there own thing and are openly proud of it. I want to meet people who do and think interesting things and do and think interesting things with them.
CURRENT MISSION
Learn hiragana and katakana before my trip to Japan in October. Slowly getting there I guess..
PHILOSOPHY
"I've been around but not around enough"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first found CS while interrailing with my friend on 2012. We spend about half of our nights surfing and it was great! Lately I've been going to CS-events more.
We started hosting with my roommate a while ago and we've had three great experiences so far!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the summer of 2012 I went on an interrail with a friend of mine. We couchsurfed in Germany, Spain and France. In addition we organized our own couchsurfers' meeting in Paris. A lot of people came to spend time and it was great! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an ongoing project of watching all the classic movies. The thing I am most ashamed of is that I still never saw Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs. I'm also on a constant search for good horror movies.
Red Hot Chili Peppers is my ultimate number one band. They have a song for every moment. I mostly listen to indie and (finnish) soft rock, but I've had my moments with bands like In Flames or Korn as well.
I'd like to read more fiction, but lately I've been stuck with my study books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Often the best moments of life turn out to be the best when the moment has already passed. One of those experiences for me was in the autumn of 2011, when I travelled alone to Germany to live and work in the island of Sylt for two months. I had no idea what to expect, who i'd meet and how to cope two months in a foreign language that I'd studied but never really used in practise. The idea of conquering the world all alone was my biggest dream and my most terrifying nightmare at the same time. Looking back now I had the most broadening and rewarding two months of my life. I forced myself to do something totally new that I was afraid of and I survived it! You can get through anything and it'll all turn out the way it should in the end.

I'd love to learn french. And spanish. And italian. Well, actually, anyone who speaks any language I don't speak you are welcome to teach me!
Also I'm a lousy cook but I love to eat so you can always have a cooking club with me!
