I am originally from Vancouver BC and have spent the past year teaching English in Kanagawa, Japan!

I love meeting new people and would say I do my best to get along with most everybody. I like dancing, cheese, oceans, manga, animals, satire, glitter, the universe in general. I am always down to just relax and chat about ideas, or go dancing until the sun comes up :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one of the most incredible things that I've come across! The community is so large and so wonderful and it makes me happy knowing all you people exist :).

I can only speak the highest praises of my experiences while surfing/hosting.

I hope to be able to continue paying it forward by hosting other couch surfers once I manage to settle down in one place!

I love darker or extra quirky films by directors like aki kaurismäki, wes anderson, david lynch, stanley kubrick, and such :) - also trying to extend my feelers towards Taiwanese film and old school Japanese films, so if you have any knowledge please share!!

In terms of music I have a pretty wide range of likes - alt/punk/indie/psychedelic/experimental electronic/a lil disco - ive also been trying to self-learn the guitar for the past little while, so let's sit down and play!

as of late I have been reading a lot of haruki murakami and kurt vonnegut - at the moment I am just completing zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance
