About Me

Just to clear this up! I have couchsurfed a total of 7 times, Portland, Little Rock, Lubbock, Santa Fe, OKC, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. My old account was run by an ex who has the passwords to everything. I do have references on here in the personal reference section from when I went to Portland. I've had nothing but amazing experiences and so have the lovely people who have hosted me. I'm working on making this account more full for you!

I am a native Floridian and just in the past couple of years I have started to travel around the United States and I fell in love with meeting new people and learning about different cities and being in a new setting. I'm not sure if there is a word for this, but it's almost as if I get homesick for being on the road and being in a new place. I'm constantly looking for the next place to travel too.

I am currently a Bartender/ Bar Manager with a franchise called Texas Roadhouse. I love my job!

I am definitely a free spirit and I am very open to everything in different religions, race, genders, and cultures. I am just a complete lover of all things. And I don't just say that to say it, I am an overall positive person who loves to surround myself with positive vibes and positive people. I think a reflection of yourself is who you choose to be around you.

I love dogs, they are just the sweetest creatures ever. If I didnt have to work 11 hours a day most of the time I would have 100 of them. I had a doberman named Mia (Wallace) who just passed away this past year and I miss her so much.

I also have a ton of tattoos and love when others are open to self expression and body art as well. But I love people without tattoos too! Haha duh. To each their own. And not all my tattoos have meaning, I definitely have some dumb ones, like "bad luck" tattooed on the sides of my hands haha. WHY TEENAGE ME, WHY?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE. There is nothing more scary than being in a new place and not knowing anyone. Couchsurfing has given me an amazing opportunity to meet some truly rad people, share experiences with, and feel comfortable in a new place.

I truly believe that it's not the places you go, but the people you meet along the way and the experiences you have. Being an outgoing person and someone who loves to try new things and learn more and more everyday, couchsurfing has been a savior for me. I love it and I would never travel any other way or want anyone else to travel any other way. It puts my faith back into humanity one trip at a time.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is Charles Bukowski and my favorite book by him is What Matters Most is How Well You Walk Through the Fire. (I actually have it tattooed on my arm) I do also love any non fiction books, including biographies, tales of drug abuse or addiction, prison life, etc. I like the dark stuff for some reason.

I love all types of music from pop punk, to folk, to old school blues, to 80's hair metal. Im more of a lyrical person, so if its got good content, im about it.

Movies is a tough one because all movies are awesome. Just recently I saw The Revenant and I loved it. So anything gritty and nature based is awesome. But I also like gorey bloody movies as well. Then a rom com (romantic comedy) doesnt hurt every once in a while either. The fault in our stars kills me every time. And don't even get me started on titanic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I packed up everything I owned, left in the middle of the night, and drove for 4 weeks to get to California. I stayed with a bunch of different couch surfing hosts and every single one of them was amazing. I had some pretty life changing experiences and met some people I will never forget along the way. ASK ME ABOUT MY TRIP :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my positivity on life, my upbeat personality and willingness to explore and get out of my comfort zone.

I can also share my crazy stories from my road trip across the country and all my funny stories from being bartender. Also, I can tell really terrible jokes that I like to think are really funny. If you're willing to risk it, I could even make you a yummy meal for dinner! Also, if you want me to bring you something cool from Orlando, I could do that. We've got disney and beach stuff! Lol
