About Me

I live in Durham, NC and work in development for Duke University. I'm also a professional cellist and am passionate about music: I play/sing/write for a bluegrass band called New Reveille, co-founded a classical ensemble called the Carolina String Society, and play in a "pop-up" choir called Flash Chorus. I majored in French and International Studies and lived in France for a year + taught English after graduating. I'm also involved in farm animal advocacy and protection; I volunteer with the Humane Society for the United States and host a vegetarian/vegan drinks meet-up in Durham. Love to check out dope vegan spots whilst traveling!

perhaps in heaven there will be no music. so let us live on the earth while we still have life!

when we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.

we shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
