Currently living in New Orleans, Louisiana working on my PhD in French. I am traveling around the Midwest and West coast this summer while I am on break from my classes and hoping to satisfy my travel bug by exploring new parts of the United States! I am passionate about music, food, culture and history and try to explore all of these arenas when I am traveling and at home.

I have had so many positive experiences traveling in Europe using couch surfing and I would like to give others that same experience here in the US!

So far I have couch surfed in Strasbourg, Grenoble, Venezia, Firenze, Paris, and Copenhagen. All very positive experiences :) I have also hosted a couple of surfers in New Orleans and hope to continue to do so when I return in August

Some of my favorite authors are David Sedaris, Tom Robbins, Sarah Waters, Milan Kundera, Philip K Dick... I have too many books but always looking for more recommendations!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think the most amazing thing that I have ever seen was the milky way from Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. There was a star-gazing party with telescopes and astronomers on hand to describe the constellations and galaxies. I couldn't tell you any of their names now, but I will never forget gazing up into that night sky.
