I'm a dreamer! I have strong case of wanderlust that I have yet to begin to cure. That is going to end in the near future. It has been decided. My biggest goal is to experience this big, beautiful world and embrace all that it has to offer. I come from an extremely small town (no fast food or stoplights...what?!?) and, although I will forever hold that quaint community close to my heart, I want to dare to break away from the that too. I am addicted to learning about new cultures. I want to actually experience what it is like to be a local of those cultures. I think the best way to do that is to travel and meet unique, new people that can teach me their wisdoms.

Well let's see...that would include: skydiving (only been once but would jump at the chance to do so again), my pup Riles, people-watching, writing (poems/stories), reading, running, hiking, painting, psychology, community service, any type of social science really, TRAVELING...of course, meeting new people, eating food is simply great...and cooking (I try at least!), baking, drawing, going out for drinks with friends, football, soccer, doing puzzles, playing video games (mostly the classic Mario stuff), track and field, having meaningful conversations, dancing, swimming...I could go on forever! I'll leave some things to mystery.

Música, películas y libros

My taste in music has no bias! I just love music in general! Especially so when someone introduces me to music that means something more to them. It's a great way to get to know a person.

I'm not really picky when it comes to movies or books either, I pretty much like all genres/stories. A side note: I absolutely love reading and constantly feel the need to make more time for it. I'm always open to new suggestions on literature.

This being said, I am a huge fan of anything sci-fi, and Futurama is the TV equivalent of a comfort food to me. Also, Zombieland, Game of Thrones, and Titanic = just, yes.

I'd say I'm still working on THE most amazing thing, but I would also say that my job is pretty amazing at the moment! I am an advocate/mentor for a Michigan State University program called the American Semester Program. This program hosts international students from all over the world as they get to experience a semester to a year of what it's like to live and attend uni in the U.S. It is an extremely rewarding position, and I have been so blessed to meet some really spectacular people from all corners of the map. :)

I am ALWAYS open and up for learning new things, whatever they may be! I am in the slow process of learning Spanish and would always appreciate some extra lessons. In exchange, I can share my English language skills (I am great with spelling and grammar) and a pretty mean recipe for Brazilian tomato salad. I also am knowledgable in the area of psychology.
