Hey, my name is Kait! I'm originally from a Chicago susburb, but I moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky to attend WKU in 2010. I am now living in Mijas, Spain, fulfilling my dream of living abroad :) I am a very open and warm person. I love to get to know new people. My astrological sign is cancer (that should tell you a lot, haha). I love the sun and the moon equally, and I get along with pretty much everyone!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for two reasons- I love people and I love to travel! Having done both ways of travel (staying in a hotel vs CS or AirB&B) I have found that I always ALWAYS enjoying the city and experience more when I meet people from that place to connect with and learn from. I am not much for doing research about a city or culture, I want to go there and really learn it from someone who has lived it.

Books: Into the Wild, The Little Prince, Pride and Prejudice, The Time Traveler's Wife, Animal Farm, mostly things written during or about the Victorian era.

I moved 4,000 miles to a new country where I knew no one and didn't really speak the language too well... And thrived ;)
