My traveling has really gained speed in the past couple years, I've jumped on any opportunity to spend time abroad. I think it's important to explore the unfamiliar.

My partner Jeff and I are coming to Iceland to celebrate his 30th birthday. He hasn't traveled outside the US since he was 15 so it's an especially exciting trip. We are so looking forward to witnessing the beauty of Iceland and are hoping to get to spend time with some locals.

We are both very easy going, we'd love to learn about you and all things Iceland if you have the time but are totally willing to entertain ourselves as well. We're both vegan, so we'd love to get tips on the restaurants in Reykjavik if you have them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's something really amazing about connecting with people from the other side of the world. I love learning how other people live differently than I do. Travelers seem to be open minded, friendly people so Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with those folks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built my own tiny house on wheels with my dad. It took us about three years but I'm living in it now and I'm very proud of the home I made for myself.
