Overview
About Me
I am a desert-lover, dancer, mindfulness practitioner, activist, and avid student of soil ecology. I love plants, outdoor adventures, and good communication. I'm currently traveling around the country seeking safe places to stay and interesting people to talk to.
I am relatively new to the CouchSurfing site, but I have used WarmShowers (a similar forum for cyclists), particularly last summer during a cross-country bike tour. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning about different cultural practices. Currently, I'm especially interested in learning more about the rural United States since I have spent most of my time in urban areas on the coasts. I'm also just generally interested in this practice of being open and welcoming towards others :)
Interests
Respecting one an other at the individual level, including plants and animals. Recognizing/dismantling social hierarchies, being outdoors, bicycling, growing/finding food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized meditation flash mobs (we all sit and meditate together and encourage busy people to join in) in the middle of a bustling University campus... WOW!
